Solvent Recovery
SRS-Ben XP
|
|
Description
The solvent recovery unit SRS-BEN XP has a tank capacity of 13 litres (3.5 US gallons) and a distillation rate of approximately 6 litres (1.6 US gallons) per hour. The unit operates on 220 Volts at 50/60 cycle and consumes 8.5 amps.
How does it work
Dirty solvent is added to the teflon-lined tank, and the stainless steel lid is replaced and clamped down. As the temperature raises above the boiling point of the solvent being recovered, the solvent vaporizes into a gaseous state through the insulated exhaust tube into the air-cooled condenser where it is condensed into a reusable solvent. The remaining solids in the still bottom can then be removed for disposal and the system is ready to process the next batch. |
