For marine environment (salty water). The solvent recovery unit SRS-175 XPM has a tank capacity of 66 liters (17.5 US gallons) and a distillation rate of approximately 11-16 liters (3 US gallons) per hour.
How does it work?
COMPARE TO MOST SMALL SOLVENT RECYCLING SYSTEMS ON THE MARKET, THE ELECTRIC AND ELECTRONIC CONTROLS OF THE XPM SERIE OF RECYCLERS ARE LOCATED IN A SEALED ENCLOSURE AND NOT AFFECTED BY CORROSIVE SALTY AIR AND WATER.
Dirty solvent is poured in the disposable liner bag inside theTeflon-lined tank, and the aluminum lid is clamped down. As the temperature rises above the boiling point of the solvent being recovered, the solvent vaporizes into a gaseous state through the insulated exhaust tube into the air-cooled condenser where it is condensed into a reusable solvent. The remaining solids in the still bottom can then be removed for disposal and the system is ready to process the next batch.
